Clinical Coordinator - Mental Health

Location: Spring Grove, PA
We are recruiting for a Clinical Coordinator for our Adult Mental Health (MH) Services’ Long Term Structured Residence (LTSR) Program in Spring Grove, PA . The LTSR is a highly structured therapeutic mental health residential treatment facility designed to serve persons 18 years of age or older who are eligible for hospitalization but who can receive adequate care in an LTSR. At the LTSR, there is not an expectation that residents will necessarily move to another setting. This is a full-time (40 hr/wk) position that offers a complete Medical Insurance and Benefits Package for those who qualify! To be successful in this position you must have strong leadership and communication skills; the ability to multitask while providing supervision and guidance to staff; and the ability to provide direct care as needed. The Clinical Coordinator will provide oversight of the LTSR as well as develop and implement in-house programming for individuals in mental illness services. It also provides guidance and supervision to the staff in the development of overall service plans. The Clinical Coordinator works closely with the program director to ensure individuals receive quality programming and achieve their highest potential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Participates in daily operations of the program. Provides team leadership and supervision to clinical personnel. Leads and facilitates the multidisciplinary treatment team process. Provides and facilitates emergency and mental illness assessment for individuals. Monitors the clinical admission and discharge criteria. Authorizes, supervises, and maintains intervention/care management services. Assists the program director in clinical service delivery. Functions as a qualified mental health professional. Assesses appropriateness of service plans to the needs of the individuals in service. Facilitates group process and activity within the program. Completes required documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Participates in assigned committees. Supervises mental health clinicians, and intake workers. Conducts training sessions. Reviews and analyzes billing reports. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Must have a Master's Degree in a generally recognized clinical discipline OR be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) from the Department of State.
  • 1 to 3 years of Mental Health clinical experience preferred.
  • At least 1 year of strong supervision/management experience required. Strong clinical background and skills with experience and knowledge of chronic and persistent mental illness and understanding of Recovery and Resiliency principles.
