Valet Attendant

Location: San Francisco, CA
We are seeking a dynamic valet attendant for high-end luxury properties in the Los Angeles and San Francisco area. This position will be based out of San Francisco, CA.
Navigating the fast-paced and technology-driven lifestyle of our highly discerning residents will require a unique mix of talents that include managing the day-to-day operations of a high-end residential tower, while also finding ways to delight some of the City’s most forward-thinking residents.

  • Participate in the budget development and management process
  • Assist in the recruiting, selection, training and managing and performance evaluation of hourly employees in the California region
  • Create and plan programs and projects that adhere to approved budgets and schedules, and oversees their implementation
  • Develop, maintain and enhance client relationships
  • Responsible for renewing city permits annually & apply for new permits whenever required to ensure compliance with city codes.
  • Prepare all financial reports, budgets, revenues, and expenses to ensure accuracy on a periodic basis.
  • Oversee revenue control for area of responsibility; may include report and budget development
  • Monitor revenue control measures to ensure performance to budget.
  • Analyze data for recommendations including, but not limited to competitive analysis
  • Interact directly with clients to maintain and enhance client relationships; will be responsible for business development
  • Monitor handling of customer concerns to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Work in developing operational standards to achieve operational excellence
  • Oversee the staffing area of Operations including, but not limited to recruitment and selection of management staff
  • Responsible for the performance management and development of the staff
  • Greet residents with a smile and by their name.
  • Directs training for new and existing associates
  • Maintains proper staffing levels at all times to ensure customer service and operating standards are met through
  • Ensures all the leads and valet attendants have the proper equipment to perform their duties
  • Have an overflow valet parking plan in place and manage car overflow when needed.
  • Coach / Counsel valet team members and discipline them as needed.
  • Directly responsible for overseeing the training of Valet Attendants providing each with the knowledge and appropriate direction to perform his/her responsibilities.
  • Maintain employee work schedules including assignments.
  • Ensuring that personnel clearly understand and are held accountable for their respective performance expectations.
  • Proactively informs management or future and or immediate staffing shortages for any given shift or circumstance.
  • Efficiently handling customer disputes (making every effort to achieve customer satisfaction). Exercising skills to identify situations that require attention and resolution as well as appropriate discretion that require the attention of management.
  • Meet and exceed resident expectations.
  • Ensure wait time for cars averages under 3 minutes and never exceed 7 minutes.
  • Ensure security measures are met.
  • Reviews the log of cars coming in and checking out on a periodic basis and monitors the garage procedures to ensure the garage is always moving smoothly.
  • Maintain fast and efficient response times.
  • Ensure garage and workspaces are always clean and organized.
  • Ensures payroll is done accurately and turned in to Director of Operations.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Requires knowledge of basic office equipment and procedures including the operation of a multi-line telephone system.

  • High school diploma or GED required. Computer skills including: internet, e-mail, (MS Outlook) MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word. One (1) to three (3) years related experience and or training.
