Senior Loan Processor

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately calculating borrower income and assets, verifications
  • Reviewing compliance, Quality Control, approvals, pricing, funding, and post-closing.
  • Adhere to general work requirements
  • Input and process loan applications from initial set-up through funding
  • Review each loan file to verify documents are present, accurate and sufficiently complete for an underwriting decision
  • Conduct professional and courteous communication with each applicant, loan officer, underwriter or appropriate third party about the loan application status and issues needing resolution
  • Ensure rules, obligations, timelines and deadlines are met to comply with company policy, contracts, investor guidelines, lending programs and state and federal laws and regulations
  • Maintain a pipeline of loans with an emphasis on customer service, quality, accuracy and efficiency
  • Learn and maintain knowledge of different loan programs
  • Gather and submit credit report and supporting application documentation in a timely manner for loan approval
  • Obtain and follow through on borrower conditions for closing per underwriter/lender requirements
  • Maintain written status with borrowers regarding outstanding items and/or approval condition
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • 5 years loan processing experience
  • 2 years in a Senior Loan Processing position 
  • 1+ years experience with Conventional, VA, and FHA loans
  • 1+ years experience with Encompass LOS
