Assistant Manager (Restaurant)

Location: Thomasville, GA
The Assistant Manager acts as an extension of the Restaurant General Manager by supporting the operations of the restaurant and assisting with the development of the team. The Assistant Manager must be able to take ownership of problems as they arise, but know when to seek guidance from others. This is a great job for an individual who wants to train and develop others while playing an integral role in the financial and operational success of the restaurant.Key responsibilities include:
  • Hands-on involvement in operations
  • Respond to customer service needs
  • Ensure that operating standards and procedures are met
  • Demonstrate appropriate skills and behaviors in the restaurant
  • Understand operational and financial metrics
  • Train and recognize Team Members and Shift Leads
  • An Assistant Manager candidate must be at least 18 years old plus have a clean and tidy appearance. There is a strong preference for internal promotes from Shift Leader or for individuals with 1-3 years of supervisory experience with profit and loss responsibility.
