Facilities Manager: The ideal candidate will oversee all facility related functions, prioritize and manage the day to day team workload to promote efficient operations, and proactively avoid equipment downtime.

Duties/Responsibilities of the Job:
  • Responsible as Facility Manager and Electrician
  • Coordinate with City, Fire Department, OSHA and Union
  • Sanitary to keep the company in compliance with the code of regulations
  • Responsible for the task force of Maintenance Groups (Line Maintenance, Facility Maintenance and Janitorial)
  • Keep track of work requests from Production Departments and schedule for Maintenance Technician’s work (daily)
  • Responsible for repairing and P.M. schedule of Facility’s Equipment
  • Responsible for moving and installing equipment as Production needs
  • Responsible for ordering parts for facility equipment and chemical use for the cleaning process
  • Responsible for the waste treatment system and schedule for waste transporter pick-up, set-up and in charge of the waste reduction program
  • Set up the schedule of coolant exchange and daily schedule lubrication P.M.
  • Responsible for Facility’s Landscaping (Landscape contractor)
  • Attend company meetings/training as needed

Requirements of the job :
  • Must have an AA or AS degree.
  • Must have 3-5 years proven Facilities Management Experience in a Manufacturing Environment setting along with knowledge of State and Federal regulatory standards, codes and requirements.
  • Ability to manage and delegate work assignments and schedules, oversee vendor contracts and other regulatory standards.
  • Willing to work on weekend and pressure environment as well as relocate.
  • Ability to oversee the day to day operations of plant operations and maintenance within production.
  • Must have experience with start-up and commissioning functions as it relates to new facilities.
  • Excellent leadership and team building skills.
