Continuous Process Improvement Manager

Location: Hamilton Township, NJ, United States
The Continuous Improvement Manager at our Hamilton Township, NJ location is responsible for developing our extraordinary people, establishing a universal culture of CI and Lean Six Sigma practice, and supporting stable operations. Maintain the highest level of quality through the implementation of business process improvements and be accountable for the overall delivery and effective management of multiple or large complex projects.
 
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Lead, direct, and be accountable for the CI and LSS culture
  • Act as a change agent to grow culture
  • Lead Lean Six Sigma Initiatives.  Work with senior leaders to determine strategic business priorities
  • Manage structure and process of strategic ideation, mini-Kaizen and Kaizen events
  • Facilitate continuous improvement events to include following the DMAIC process (define, measure, analyze, improve and control). 
  • Maintain and improve training program
  • Works with manager to provide standard and repeatable methodologies for use across all projects, internal and external, to ensure infrastructure management and appropriate resource and business solution integrations
  • Occasional travel
 
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required
 
Certifications/License/Registration Requirements:
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification required
  • Must be willing and able to obtain Black Belt Certification within 1 year of hire

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a clinical research field 
  • Process improvement and project management experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills and ability to work with all levels of leadership, management and staff, both business and technical, as well as customers and vendors
  • Strong consultative, presentation, analytical and business communication skills (oral and written) required
  • Demonstrated experience in financial management principles as they relate to project management and process improvement required
  • Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint presentations
