Internal Wholesaler

Job Description
As an Internal Wholesaler, your goal will be to raise and retain assets through a consultative approach. You’ll partner with an External Wholesaler or two to develop and maintain relationships with financial advisors and other intermediaries in order to sell American Funds products.   
  • Initiate sales by making personalized outbound calls 
  • Execute strategic territory coverage by partnering with your wholesaler 
  • Exhibit deep knowledge of investment concepts 
  • Deliver effective presentations to promote American Funds  
  • 2 years of direct sales experience 
  • FINRA Series 6, 63, 65 desired, but not required 
  • Completion of Series 6, 63 required within 5 weeks of hire 
  • Completion of Series 65 required within 3 attempts 
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, with an expertise in adapting to different audiences  
  • Ability to articulate specific sales strategies and processes Bachelor’s degree preferred
