Lead ERM Analyst

Location: Dearborn, MI, United States
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for assisting the Director to facilitate the governance of the Enterprise Risk Management program at ACG, including ERM Steering Committee, Management Risk Committee and applicable Board committees
  • Develops high-quality presentations for senior management and governance committees as required
  • Oversees governance schedule and ensure items are on track
  • Plans and delivers educational sessions on risk management principles and practices
  • Coordinates facilitate the annual risk assessment process
  • Solicits, records and tracks enterprise risk management data; maintain board and executive level dashboards
  • Supports risk owners in assessing and analyzing risks, including the development of leading key risk indicators
  • Supports cross functional risk workshops (interview or facilitate group discussions with key stakeholders, identify key risks, analyze interdependencies and relationships, etc.)
  • Monitors emerging trends and support risk-sensing initiatives, including blind spot workshops
  • Performs other duties as required
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in business related discipline
Six Sigma certification(s)
  • Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance software
  • Lean concepts, business process improvement, operational excellence or six sigma
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Familiar with Governance, Risk and Compliance software
Work Environment:
Works in a temperature-controlled office environment.
Required Qualifications (these are the minimum requirements to qualify):
Education (include minimum education and any licensing/certifications):
  • Four year degree in business related discipline (Finance, Accounting, Economics, etc.)
  • Seven years of business experience that included a minimum of three years of experience in any combination of the following:  internal or external audit, enterprise risk management, operational excellence, risk advisory or public accounting
  • Demonstrated experience creating and delivering formal presentations and training
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience coordinating board level committee and other governance meetings
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Great attention to detail; demonstrated project management skills and ability to prioritize assignments and multi-task within restricted time constraints
  • Self-starter with demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision on unstructured assignments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interface effectively with all levels of management
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to resolve issues under tight time frames
  • Drive for results and ability to network and collaborate cross-functionally across the organization
