Sales Engineer
 
Job Responsibilities:
Support sales growth through consulting engineers, owners, and mechanical contractors by marketing, specification, selection and sales.
Support the Outside Sales organization by providing technical support and application information.
Seek new business opportunities by responding to new customer’s inquiries and the marketing of new products and services
Analyze the territory, develop, execute, and monitor sales programs
Take responsible for generating quotes for HVAC equipment for engineers, mechanical contractors, and owners, then working to close the sale
Make presentations in front of engineers, mechanical contractors and owners on key products and services
Help maintain pre-and post-sales job files.
 
Education/Experience:
  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • 2-5+ years’ experience
 
Requirements:
  • 2-5 years of HVAC experience or knowledge of HVAC preferred
  • High sense of urgency and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal direction from management
  • Strong business, technical and problem solving skills needed
  • Proficient with a PC and Microsoft Office applications
