SBA Sr. Sales Representative (Denver, CO – Indianapolis, IN – Plymouth Meeting, PA – Brooklyn, OH)
Well-known bank-based financial services company is looking for an experienced sales representative to acquire new clients and expand a portfolio of existing client business whose annual sales range from $1 to $10 million, with loan sizes between $150,000 and $5 million. You’ll collaborate with business bankers (sales and relationship managers) to build out the SBA business plan for your district. You’ll leverage referrals, utilize your network of referral sources, develop cross sales opportunities from business banking partners. Heavy prospecting role with a goal to sell to new clients and to expand existing client relationships.
We’re looking for a relevant bachelor’s degree and at least five to seven years of experience with SBA lending, and at least five years in a sales role. You must have in-depth knowledge of SBA products (7(a), 504 and Express, and the SBA SOP, plus strong general knowledge of financial products and banking regulations. Have experience with personal and commercial financial statements, commercial lending and small business operations, proficiency in computer applications, strong presentation and customer service skills, and ability to demonstrate/articulate previous performance in sales.
You absolutely must have a stable work history. Frequent job moves will disqualify you from consideration.
Relocation is not available, so you must be local. The employer will not sponsor work visas, so you must be able to work legally in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
