HR processes, procedures, and coaching. Provide consulting support to counsel management on individual HR activities, performance issues, terminations, promotions, employee development, job content and job description development.
Develop the best possible solution to employee relation issues. Ensure sound employee relations policies are developed, communicated and implemented.
Work with Legal on any Hotline complaints & Employee Actions
Responsible for Employee Handbooks: Maintain supplements for Chestnut and Osgood

Support the Talent, Performance and Reward programs
Provide a high level of customer service support that is a consistent interpretation and implementation of policies, procedures, and company practices.
Ensure a balance between employee needs and organizational goals when providing advice and guidance to both supervisors and employees in resolving/investigating work-related issues.
Support the company’s open door policy and help to ensure a positive employee relations culture and work environment.
Partner and/or coach supervisors to create and deliver effective performance management actions, initiatives and strategies that will have a direct impact on employee engagement and retention, in addition to sustaining a high performance workforce.
Provide day to day performance management guidance to supervisors (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Provides guidance to field HR managing complex leave of absence cases
Develop ad hoc reports, dashboards and metrics in a timely manner utilizing Workday HRIS reporting tools
Create charts and graphs to summarize and synthesize data for monthly presentations to senior management. Utilize advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Maintain library of scheduled reports, updating items as needed
Work directly with various functional groups to understand and deliver upon their HR reporting needs
HRIS database and automated resume tracking knowledge, preferably Workday.
SPHR / PHR certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment law.
Demonstrated problem solving, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
Demonstrated expertise in several functional HR fields.
Strong business acumen, clear ability to partner with senior business leaders.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and influencing skills.
The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience including, but not limited to, employee relations issues, performance management, organizational development, employment law, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits administration.
Ability to handle highly confidential information with appropriate discretion and sensitivity.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Must be committed to providing the highest level of customer service and responsiveness.
Advanced computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
